This project is mainly focused on design, although my work with the Comissão de Festas Pedrógão has also included photography and video over the years.
The project supports the traditional festivals of the village of Pedrógão, located in Torres Novas, Portugal. As a small village initiative, the festival is organized annually and plays an important role in the community. Beyond the celebration itself, the event helps bring movement and visitors to the village while raising funds to improve local infrastructure. This has been the ongoing mission of the different festival committees over the years.
I began collaborating with the committee in 2016, with a few interruptions along the way (notably in 2018 and 2024). Throughout this collaboration, my role has been to develop the design and communication strategy for the event.
