About me.

Hello, I’m Maria Inês Matos and I’m 26 years old. I was born and raised in a village of Santarém district, to be more specific, Pedrógão, Torres Novas.

I’m a multimedia technician from the professional school of Ourém and I have a Communication and Media degree from the Superior School of Education and Social Sciences of Leiria Polytechnic.

From an early age, I discovered my taste to take photos, watch movies, go to music festivals and concerts. Besides that, I love new technologies.

Travelling is my most recent hobby and already my favorite. All of my trips have influenced my way of being and the way I work.

I like the felling of novelty of creating someting new and I’m always searching for ways to renew myself and my work.
I adapt easily to new professional environments, I’m creative and I work very hard to achieve my goals.

In the professional school where I was, I’ve made some volunteering projects, like making and producing advertising videos and a website for Craftsmen of Ourém.

I have lived for 4 months in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn, where I did two curricular internships with the support of the Erasmus + program.

When I entered college, I sarted to be a part of projects like Students Association, Communication and Media Association (this last one as representative and vice president). Beyond these projects, I’ve created posters, photoshoots and was a camera operator for Tum’Acanénica – Tuna Mista da ESECS and the project Playria, which was organized by the Leiria city Council.

In my last year, as a finalist, I’ve been a part of “Ciclos de Comunicação 2020” as a multimedia coordinator.

As a student of Leiria Polytechnic, I made Erasmus in Slovakia and studied at Pan European University – Journalism, Audiovisual Techniques and media production.
